Fintech & finance
Finance depends on confidence in the details.
What a customer owes. What a partner is due. Which records a team uses to make a decision. We build software with financial businesses that need to explain those details and act on them.
Where work gets held up
- A trading team needs to know whether a position view includes the latest records before using it.
- A borrower is waiting for the next step. The team needs to see what is missing and who is following up.
- A partner questions a payment. The answer needs the agreement, source statement and adjustments.
- A customer questions a balance. The service team needs an explanation they can trace to the records.
- Question received
- Agreement and records checked
- Explanation or correction recorded
The person handling the question needs the basis for the payment and a clear path for resolving a difference.
What We Build Here
Where we can help
Start with the workflow you need to change.
Research and trading decisions depend on knowing what the data represents and how current it is. Internal tools should make late sources and corrections visible, so the team can judge whether an output is fit for the decision in front of them.
A borrower needs to understand what happens next, and the team needs a clear account of the application or loan. We build around the information, follow-up and approvals needed to move work forward, with the business defining its lending and servicing rules.
Relationships depend in part on being able to explain what was agreed and what was paid. We build tools that connect placed business, statements and payment terms, with a way to investigate adjustments and answer a partner's question.
Clients rely on the team to account for their records and explain differences. Software should help staff trace a report to its inputs, see outstanding work and preserve the decisions behind an approved version.
A customer needs to understand what an action does, whether it completed and where to get help. We design that experience alongside the systems and operating team responsible for carrying it through.

What We Understand
What the software must make clear
What the customer can rely on
A balance, status or confirmation needs a clear meaning. We consider what has completed, what is pending and what the person viewing it should do next.
How a number can be explained
The team needs the source records, relevant rules and subsequent adjustments. A result is more useful when the person responsible can account for it.
How a mistake gets resolved
Exceptions need an owner and a review path. Corrections should remain traceable to the people who approve them and the records they change.
How We Work
How we work together
We work with the people responsible for the product, the operation and its review. Together, we establish what customers and staff need to understand, what the business must control and how changes will be checked.
01
Your part
Explain the workflow, involve the people doing the work and make decisions on priorities.
02
Our part
We take responsibility for product definition and engineering, and review working software with your team.
We hold ourselves to 5–7 engagements at a time, and most run multi-year as the product and the business grow. More on how we work →
Questions
Questions before you build
We compare the workflow against the platforms you already use, including configuration and integration options. A custom build needs a clear benefit worth its development and ongoing maintenance. We also check data access and vendor restrictions before recommending an approach.
The timeline depends on the workflow, applicable requirements and who must review it. We identify those dependencies with your legal, compliance and operations teams before committing to scope. External approvals remain dependencies in the plan.
No. We work with established businesses as well as founders. We need a defined problem, someone responsible for decisions and a budget for building and maintaining the software.
You do. We build codebases meant to be handed over, maintained and extended, including by a team that is not us.
We work through the intended customer experience and its operating consequences with you, then own the agreed product definition and engineering. Business rules and the approvals your business is responsible for stay with the people accountable for them. That understanding is not a handover at the start; it continues as the software changes.
