Services · Dedicated development team
Hire a dedicated development team that takes ownership of the build
Most people looking for a dedicated development team want more than extra hands. They want people who learn the business, decide what is worth building and stay with it.
We work as a pod: one product manager who also covers design and two engineers, working directly with your business team. We manage the day-to-day delivery. You remain involved in business decisions and priorities.

Fit
When a dedicated development team makes sense
You know the problem, and you need product and engineering judgment, not only capacity.
The software will keep changing as the business does. Most of our engagements run for years.
You would rather not recruit, manage and retain a full team before you know what the product needs.
You already have engineers and want senior people embedded alongside them. Our Apex, Nesh and fintech platform engagements worked that way.
It is not the right fit if you need one specialist for a fixed task, or a contractor to work through a ticket backlog that someone else has defined.

Process
How hiring a dedicated development team with us works
A 30-minute call with Jai
The first conversation is about the business, what you want to improve and what you already know. We will discuss whether we can help and what we would need to understand next.
A scoped plan
Before work begins, you receive a scoped plan with an estimated timeline and budget for the first useful release.
Agreement before kickoff
Team allocation, monthly budget, and responsibilities are agreed before kickoff. Hosting, third-party services, and other project-specific costs are identified in the proposal.
Kickoff
Jai works with the pod during the first few months to guide architecture and key technical decisions.
Ongoing
We review what happens with the people using the software, address what gets in their way and decide what to improve next.
Ownership
What the team takes responsibility for
Decide what is worth building first.
Design workflows people can actually use.
Build, integrate, test, and release the software.
Review feedback and plan the next improvements.
| Role | What they do |
|---|---|
| 1 product manager, covering design | Works with your business team to decide what is worth building, and carries the user journeys, interface design, and delivery planning. |
| 2 engineers | Build the software, connect the systems it depends on, test changes, and review each other's work. |
| Founder architecture oversight, included | Jai works with the pod during the first few months to guide architecture and key technical decisions, included at no additional charge. This is oversight, not a fourth full-time member or unlimited access. |
You remain involved in business decisions and priorities. We manage the day-to-day delivery.
Founder-led
Why we hold ourselves to 5–7 engagements
We work closely with a small number of clients, often over several years. That gives us time to learn the business and continue building as its needs change.
The record
The work, in our clients' words
They have always been receptive to feedback, which is the most important thing for us.

What is a dedicated development team?
A dedicated development team works on one client's product over an extended period rather than on a single fixed task. Ours is a pod: one product manager who also covers design and two engineers, with our founder guiding architecture in the first few months. We manage the day-to-day delivery, and you remain involved in business decisions and priorities.
How to hire a dedicated development team?
With us, you start by booking a 30-minute call with our founder, Jai Jalan. If we can help, you receive a scoped plan with an estimated timeline and budget for the first useful release. Team allocation, monthly budget, and responsibilities are agreed before kickoff.
What does a development team do?
Ours decides with you what is worth building first, designs workflows people can actually use, builds, integrates, tests, and releases the software, then reviews feedback and plans the next improvements. You own the code, and we build codebases meant to be handed over, maintained and extended, including by a team that is not us.
